Affiliate Networks and Design/User experience
There is ALOT of affiliate networks out there, some better than others, and some just “ok”.
But, there is a big differense in the designs they have, wich I think is the most important thing.
If a user thinks its hard to use, he/she wont use it.
Google Adsense
Standard Google, easy and userfriendly design, with nothing “mindblowing”.
PepperJamNetwork
Nice graphs, and nice graphics, but its quite difficult to use.
Advertising.com
Fair enough design, not to “shiny” and is quite easy to use and find your way trough.
My conclusion here is: Affiliate Networks isnt very good at giving you as an user an easy way to navigate the sites they have.
What happened to the Web 2.0 here?
Everyone finds what they are looking for eventually, but it takes longer time to get it the way YOU want it.
The best affiliate network I have ever used is Advertising.com. I registered some Norwegian blogs/sites there, and the person who works for Advertising.com in Norway actually called me, and guided me through the site and said that if it was something I wanted to know, I could call him on his cell, almost every hour of the day. THAT I call service
Google Adsense
Im actually banned from Google Adsense, got banned a year ago, because someone clicked on my links to much.
I tried to explain that to Google, but they wouldnt let me in again.
Luckily I run this “make-money-on-the-net” project this year with a friend of mine, and THATS why its Adsense links on my site.
What sense do this post make? NONE! hehe.
But it will, later on.
In the next months Im going to write reviews of alot of affiliate networks.
“Wich one pays the most”, “Wich one is easiest to use?”, “Wich one is the best?” etc.
